Before you discount this unusual dairy source, you should know that certain cultures have been drinking camel milk for thousands of years. What’s more is that this emerging superfood may actually contain more nutritional value than other forms of milk. Potentially one of the most superior types of milk, camel milk can provide a number of surprising health benefits.
Camel milk is fundamentally different from cow’s milk in many aspects. For one thing, it contains higher levels of protein, vitamins, minerals, and unsaturated fatty acids than cow’s milk. However, it also contains lower amounts of cholesterol and lactose, making it easier to digest for those who are lactose-intolerant.
